Hi i am Vignesh i would like t get details on detection of glaucoma using image processing technique.so please could you suggest some of the seminar slides and guides for this topic
Glaucoma is a disease caused by the neuro-degeneration of the optic nerve that leads to blindness. It can be evaluated by monitoring the intraocular pressure (IOP), the visual field and the appearance of the optic disc (cup-disc ratio). Glaucoma increases the copa-disc ratio (CDR), which affects the loss of peripheral vision. This paper addresses the various imaging techniques for diagnosing glaucoma based on the CDR evaluation of pre-processed background images. These algorithms are tested in publicly available funds images and the results are compared. The accuracy of these algorithms is evaluated by sensitivity and specificity. The sensitivity and specificity of these algorithms turn out to be very favorable.
