ABSTRACT:
In nowadays the power conservation is the most important than power generation. In industries induction motor is the mostly used driving machine. It always operates at lagging power factor and also the power factor varies according to the load level. Since the power factor plays very important role in power consumption, then the power factor correction was needed to avoid waste of power. The power factor is corrected by static capacitor bank arrangement. These are controlled automatically by the help of embedded technology. And addition to that this project is used to monitor the parameters of motor such as current, voltage, and power factor in a single display.
OBJECTIVE:
This project is very useful in industries to monitor the whole performance of a motor in a single system.
