CONCLUSION
ATM provides financial services to an increasing segment of the
population in many countries. Fingerprint scanning, continues
to gain acceptance as a reliable identification and verification
processes. This paper identifies a model for the modification
of existing ATM systems to economically incorporate fingerprint
scanning and, outlines the advantages of using such system. It
should be noted that the customers’ perception cannot be
generalized as it was highly affected by the tradition/culture of the
users involves. This paper has provided an overview of the
user-centred work focussed upon the provision of biometrics
verification at the ATM user interface.
