ABSTRACT
The project titled “Web Portal For E-Banking Transactions System” is designed using Active Server Pages .NET with Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005 as front end and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as back end which works in .Net framework version 2.0. The coding language used is C# .Net.
The project contains customer account creation, their translation such as deposits, withdrawal and interest entries through online by the bank networks. The customer of one branch can make translation in any other branches of the Bank.
At any time, the current account status of any customer of any branch can be viewed in any / all branches by administrator, staff, and customer. INTRODUCTION
The project titled “BANKING INTRANET” is designed using ASP.NET and MS-Access, which runs by the Internet information service in Microsoft operating system.
The project contains three modules viz., the administrator, staff and customer.

PROBLEM DEFINITION
Nowadays, banks are geographically wide and the branches are more. Presently, the transactions are made manually and correspondence is being done through phone or fax. The head of the branches may not know the transactions of all branches or particular branch immediately. Hence there is the requirement raised to develop an application being capable of providing immediate and fast reference to the head of the branches. Only through the passbook given, the customer identifies the bank balance.
Hence it is decided to develop an application, which is being capable of transacting all the data immediately to the users based on the privileges allowed. The application should also be capable of supporting the customer needs.
