Abstract
ZigBee is standard that is suitable for wireless sensor networks.
In ZigBee, sensor networks can be connected by a tree topology called DAAM.
It has merits as follows:
1.It is easy to impliment.
2.It simplifies task of routing.
Abstract
3.It restricts the number of children and the depth of the network by setting a topological parameter set, which is defined as a topological policy in this paper.
Where there are many different kinds of geographical distributions, DAAM can have one topological policy.
If the policy in DAAM is unsuitable for the geographical deployment, the utilization of addree pool is very low. Thus in spite that there is a large address space.
Abstract
some divices can not join the sensor networks , To overcome the problem, this paper proposes EDAAS based on DAAM.
DAAM can separate the node distribution into several simplifier elements which can have their own topological policies.
The evaluation shows that it can manage address space with more flexible by using an additional storage
Introduction
ZigBee specification is being considered as a promising technology for low data rate, short communication range, low cost wireless sensor networks (WSN’s), several issues in their specifications still must be addressed.
ZigBee alliance proposes ad-hoc on demand distance vector(AODV) routing protocal and DAAM.
AODV provides efficient paths by broadcasting route request messages.
Introduction
In addition, AODV’s routing table may need a large memory, which is not suitable for ZigBee devices.
DAAM requires no broadcast overhead to find the routing path and no memory overhead to maintain routing information.
Introduction
Reffering above table, the regular type DAAM has only 58.92% configured devices, although there are 65,533 address in the long thin node deployment .
This table shows various examples of geographical deploydent.
