ABSTRACT
Future automobiles traces the innovative techniques that vary from weird car that
changes its shape, size, color according to the circumstances to the car that changes
the conventional method of having engine being replaced by a motor.
Even cars that changes the environment for travelers leading interior design to its
peak.
Engines are reduced to one fourth of their weight and emissions are also reduced to
half.
Driverless cars that reduce risk of accidents four times and cars can act as main
mode of transport even as street light during night.
Cars which can fly, swim in water have proven land is not only the source.
Advanced technologies in engines increasing their efficiency and life with advanced
turbochargers, airbags placed in the wheel of the automobiles to provide crash
safety.
INTRODUCTION
Future of automobiles gives us a wide range of possibilities from designing to the smallest
technology that helps it move further efficient in its functioning. Majority of automobiles
running in this world are cars. So cars play an important role in changing the face of automobiles
in wide range. This paper deals with the futuristic technology of cars varying from cars of
changing shape, engineless cars, cars that can act as public resource. Cars that can provide a
different environment for passengers like changing city mode to dense forest mode. Cars and
motorcycle is to be merged to develop a new kind of automobile. Thus car as an automobile
continues to fascinate future with more new technologies...
Moving Capsule Concept
Arbo is an extreme transportation concept using electricity and having extra-ordinarily
characteristic appearance. It seems like a captule that is hard to perceive front and rear during
driving mode to make its aerodynamic maximized. During 'arbor' mode, the doors are opened in
a circle sliding on each door lines and Arbo is transformed into a perfect space to enjoy the space
on the road.
Recharging process
The Primary battery uses the ordinary 110v - 250v electricity. The power is delivered to the ballwheel
drive system. The secondary battery is recharged from the solar energy. It's used for
operating Arbo's electric devices. These 2 types of recharging system share the resources
together by supplying the power to each other when one of them is short of power.
Metromorph Futuristic Car
To address the ever-growing metropolitan city problems associated with real estate and parking
place, many innovative ideas are constantly coming up from various designers and Metromorph
is one of the most functional concept cars in this regard. It has been designed with the ability to
ride up just like an elevator and turn into a balcony, eliminating the harassment of parking and
paying for additional space in the apartment. This vehicle is powered with two in-wheel motors
placed in the back of the car along with two battery cases. Rotating arms have been used in order
to keep the seats level for both vertical and horizontal drive. When the vehicle is in balcony
mode, the seats are positioned on a rolling base which allows them to become lounge chair for
lying down and relax. The exterior design of this car never seems like a car that is mounted
vertically with a building but still it looks like a vehicle on the road. The wheels are hidden
towards inside and doors are designed to rotate closely around the car, instead of the usual
pulling out or sliding up doors, allowing the entrance to freely open in narrow area like a garage.
Technology
IPSE’s intelligent system recognizes outside surrounding then translates into virtual objects and
living things. For example, in 'underwater' mode, other vehicles appear to the driver as sea
creatures. While it drives through a street in the city, the driver doesn't see any buildings, cars
and asphalt-paved road but beautiful trees and wild animals running on the grass land. The real-
time transformation system has unlimited database and produces new data’s by combination.
3-way active interation
Even before the digital era arrived, efforts to bring men and machine closer into intimate
relationships has been made by industries. The automobile industry has also been seeking for
ways to improve interaction between the driver & car. While existing solutions focused mainly
on 'driver&car', IPSE have added another dimension by the 'surroundings' factor. By this, the
traditional 2-way passive interaction has been transformed to a 3-way active interaction.
Possibility
This concept seems to have a lot of technical and safety problems. But if we integrate it into
another method, then the applications are plentiful. In this case, the most important is that it let
people free from reality and let people see whatever they can imagine. What if this idea is
reflected into another method like mobile devices, game industries, sporting goods, RFID
technology, passenger services, and so on?
