Outline:
User interface design or user interface engineering is the design of machines, software applications and websites with the focus on the user's experience and interaction. The goal of user interface design is to make the user's interaction as simple and efficient as possible, in terms of accomplishing user goals—what is often called user-centered design. Good user interface design facilitates finishing the task at hand without drawing unnecessary attention to itself. Graphic design may be utilized to support its usability. The design process must balance technical functionality and visual elements to create a system that is not only operational but also usable and adaptable to changing user needs.
A good user interface allows people who understand the problem domain to work with the application without having to read the manuals or receive training. User interface design important for several reasons. First of all the more intuitive the user interface the easier it is to use, and the easier it is to use and the less expensive to use it. The better the user interface the easier it is to train people to use it, reducing your training costs.
How does it work?
Pidoco is an online prototyping tool that allows for real time collaboration as we know it from Google Docs. As is the standard in other prototyping tools, we can create pages and populate them with drag-and-drop widgets, link it all together, and view the whole thing live.
