Intelligent Traffic Density Control System

What is a Intelligent System ?
System that can be used to observe and record information relating to the condition or situation.
Normally we define machine intelligence in accordance with the following characteristics of human intelligence:
The ability to take decisions flexibly.
..to identify relative importance between multiple situations and to prioritize.
..to find differences in apparently similar situations.
TRAFFIC LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM
With the increase in vehicle count, ‘Jams’ are what observed on roads these days.
The only solution to this problem is to control the traffic in correct way.
we gain knowledge of the issues that cause a traffic jam and we can control the flow of traffic by calculating the traffic density and increase the flow of traffic that can avoid traffic jams.
Technologies Covered
Interfacing modules for transmission opto interrupters with the Atmega 8 microcontroller.
IR technology to establish between the flow of traffic and microcontroller Developing the source code for the traffic lights to change the colours.
Conclusion
The project makes use of different scenarios which create traffic jams and solutions to overcome these situations.
