ABSTRACT
Management of change is emerging as a dynamic area for corporate and business tycoons, as the change is throwing befitting challenges which at times becomes complex to manage and conquer. Today, a vast number of organizations are constantly monitoring change and are taking serious interests to project change and accordingly, are attempting to design their existing and prospective strategies to deal with the change and as result, lose vehemently both physically and financially. This panorama exists mainly due to their inability to tolerance to change. The same is equally true with individuals who are instrumental to overall organizational change. It is in this background that the present study has been undertaken to major the extent of tolerance to change vis a vis at individual level. The study though empirical in nature, has revealed that a large number of prospective corporate human resources failed to exhibit requisite level of tolerance to change, to absorb themselves in the emerging changing environment, where the concept of learning organization is gaining momentum. The study therefore suggests that the curriculum along with behavioral management needs to be extended to the existing and emerging work force to enable them to accept and acclimatize the change.
