ABSTRACT
The aim of this project is to protect the data, which is communicated between the different military units from unauthorized user.
The data is encrypted at sender end using some encryption key and at the receiver end the original message can be obtained by decrypting the received encrypted message using the same key.
The key used to encrypt and decrypt should be know to both sender and receiver. The Communication takes place through a wireless RF transmitter and receiver operating at 433.92 MHz.
Here microcontroller 89c51 used to encrypt and decrypt the data, which is entered by the user through keyboard. The message received is displayed in the LCD display. To ensure the security level at the receiving end we have a password protection. A buzzer at the receiver end indicates the message arrival and receiver has to enter the password to see the message.
Functional Description:
Functional Block Diagram has two units
1). Transmitter End
2). Receiver End
1). Transmitter End: At Transmitter end it contains a microprocessor, a key board, a LCD display, RF transmitter and an antenna. Microcontroller used to encrypt the user original data. User enters the data through keyboard and it will be displayed on the LCD display. Then it is transmitted through RF transmitter operating at 433.92MHz frequency.
2). Receiver End: At receiver end encrypted data is received through RF receiver operating at 433.92MHz frequency. A alarm inform the data arrival and it is stored in serial EEPROM and it is displayed in LCD display. Before displaying user has to enter the password through keyboard to get the original message.
