1Sensotronic braking.pptx (Size: 1.81 MB / Downloads: 59)
INTRODUCTION
Sensotronic braking system is a innovative idea of Electro-Hydraulic braking system.
It has developed in collaboration with Mercedes and Bosch.
Fully electronic controlled.
Mercedes ( W211 and R230)
Basic components:
The component of Sensotronic braking control has been sub-divided into 2 parts.
A- Principle Components.
B- Working Components.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM [ESP]
This system helps keep the vehicle on its intended path during a turn, to avoid sliding or skidding.
wheel speed
steering angle
yaw movement
Momentarily brakes one or more wheels and, depending on the system, reduces engine power to keep the car back on course.
Working Components:
The working components of Sensotronic braking control is divided into 3 basic parts.
Brake operating unit.
In addition to the data relating to the brake pedal actuation, the SBC computer also receives the sensor signals from the hall effect sensors.
In the Sensotronic Brake Control, a large number of mechanical components are simply replaced by electronics
Working of Sensotronic Braking Control.
Driver presses the brake pedal when required.
Electric impulses are used to pass the driving braking command.
Optimum pressure is calculated in each wheel.
The motor pumps the brake fluid to wheels by brake line.
The whole process is done with the help of. Electronic Control unit by the i/p help of sensors.
Conclusion:
Sensotronic Brake Control is the brake of the future.
The interdisciplinary interaction of mechanics and electronics provides its greatest benefits – the microcomputer, software, sensors, valves and electric pump work together and allow totally novel, highly dynamic brake management.
