Another thing we can think,is about how investors of other busted Ponzi schemes acted in this situation.I personally believe,that without filing a complaint,no way we can bring these guys to the law,trusting them now,even after knowing that they are frauds,does not make any sense.
In an illicit business like this,money is the boss,if some of their staff is in jail,others will get away leaving behind the guys behind the bars ,to languish.These guys are not angels and expecting angelish behavior from them is too too much,considering present scenario.
