ZIGBEE WIRELESS VEHICLUAR IDENTIFICATION AND AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM

OBJECTIVE:
The main theme of our project is to check the authentication of vehicle and driver and also to indicate any faults using ZIGBEE technology
Zigbee and RFID technologies are used
Zigbee is new wireless technology guided by IEEE 802.15.4 Personal Area Network standard.
OPERATION:
At the transmitter section sending it’s serial number to receiver side using zigbee transceiver
Then it is received by receiver section, RFID reader will read the serial number
If it is valid then it will ask for password for driver authentication. Driver will send password by keypad
If both serial number and password are matched with EEPROM data base. Then vehicle is authorized otherwise it is unauthorized.
APPLICATIONS:
It is mainly applicable for security purpose
It is used for vehicle identification and authentIt can applicable for military premises and any government parking places.

ADVANTAGES:
Have less manual operations since it is automatic
Vehicle and driver are identified in a less time
Flexibility, reliability and accurate system
It is at low cost
It consumes less power
FUTURE SCOPE:
For the future enhancement we use two modules in this project
One module is used as ZIGBEE and other module is used as GSM
By using these modules security will increases more and vehicle identification, driver authentication will done in very less time.
CONCLUSION:
The proposed zigbee technology based wireless vehicle identification and authentication system satisfies the much needed requirement of vehicle security
User friendly interface and simple system setup.
