Pneumatic technology has gained the utmost importance in the field of automation from old woodworks and coal mines to modern machine shops and space robots. Therefore, it is important that technicians and engineers have a good knowledge of the pneumatic system, pneumatic valves and accessories. Our goal is to design and manufacture a control system based on the electronically controlled intelligent automatic bumper activation system called "Intelligent braking system with pneumatic bumper". This system consists of infrared transmitter and receiver circuit, control unit, pneumatic bumper system and braking unit. IR sensors are used to detect the obstacle coming in front of the vehicle. If there is an obstacle closer to the vehicle, the control signal is given to the braking unit of the bumper activation system. The pneumatic bumper system is used to provide safety to the man and the vehicle. Now one-day vehicle accidents are the main problem. This intelligent rupture system is an innovative project with the purpose of preventing accidents or reducing the impact of the frontal accident that occurs on restricted roads. The purpose of this system is based on an intelligent electric bumper control system and brake activation system known as "Intelligent braking system with pneumatic bumper". As well as this system improve the response time of the braking vehicle to keep the distance safe between two vehicles.
