In recent years wireless sensor networks have been widely used in healthcare applications such as hospital and home patient monitoring. Wireless medical sensor networks are more vulnerable to wiretapping, tampering, tampering, and replaying attacks than wired networks. Much work has been done to ensure wireless medical sensor networks. Existing solutions can protect patient data during transmission, but can not stop the internal attack where the patient database administrator reveals sensitive patient data. In this article, we propose a practical approach to prevent internal attack by using multiple data servers to store patient data. The main contribution of this work is the safe distribution of patient data on multiple data servers and the use of Paillier and ElGamal crypto-systems to perform statistical analysis on patient data without compromising patient privacy.
The application areas of wireless sensor networks are growing widely, as the cost and size of sensor devices are rapidly decreasing. The main areas of application are home, office, transportation, environmental monitoring, medical care, security and surveillance, tourism and entertainment. Wireless Medical Network Sensor (WMSN) technology has invaded medical equipment to replace thousands of wires connected with various equipment found in hospitals. The development of wireless medical sensor networks has the potential to transform the path of human life. The wireless sensor network consists of many sensor nodes that are scattered throughout a physical environment and can be used to closely monitor the physiological conditions of patients. Each sensor device is able to monitor, detect and display information including monitoring of blood pressure, glucose level, pulse rate, heart rate measurement and body temperature analysis, etc. Some of the examples of health care applications using WSN are HealthGear, Vital Jacket and eWatch.
