The Powertrain library (also known as the "PTDynamics" library) is a library developed by Claytex to model spinning MultiBody systems, mainly automotive engines. It is based on the VeSyMA library and is fully compatible with the Modelica Standard and VehicleInterfaces libraries.
The purpose of this library is to provide ready-to-use subsystems to build a vehicle and test bench experiments to simulate it as a whole or subsystem per subsystem. In this way, vehicle testing is intuitive, fast, efficient and does not require extensive knowledge of Modelica or extensive user coding. This library is geared to vehicle testing on straight-line maneuvers (NEDC or other drive cycles, Tip-In, Tip-Out, and many other driving maneuvers).
