Over voltage Relay
Provides protection to equipment that can not control surplus voltages. Uses a normally closed contact (N.C.). Whenever the monitored voltage remains below the maximum voltage that the equipment can withstand (Pickup Configuration), the relay remains de-energized and the NC contact. remains closed, keeping the load on. If the operating voltage increases beyond the maximum rating of the equipment, the relay is energized and the N.C. contact is opened, turning off the load. When the voltage falls below the disconnection (hysteresis) setting, the relay is deactivated and the NC contact. close again, turning on the load.
