Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), based in Bangalore, India, is a public and unitary university established in 1996 by the government of Karnataka, India, for the regulation and promotion of higher education in science health throughout the state of Karnataka. RGUHS is a member of the Association of Universities of the Commonwealth, United Kingdom. Colleges affiliated with RGUHS has been consistently ranked as the best medical, dental and paramedical universities in India.

• Hans Rosling was a Swedish doctor, academic, statistician and public speaker. He was a professor of International Health at the Karolinska Institute and co-founder and president of the Gapminder Foundation, which developed the Trendalyzer software system.
• Kavery Nambisan is an Indian doctor and novelist. The story of Nambisan that should not be told was shortlisted for the DSC South Asian Literature Prize in 2012, as well as the Man Asian Literary Award in 2008.
• Brian J.G. Pereira is a nationally recognized expert in kidney diseases and nephrology. He is currently president and CEO of Visterra, Inc.
