Introduction
Working capital is one of the most fundamental measures of a firm’s financial strength. If a firm possesses a significant value of liquid assests, it can easily fund its day to day obligations.
In working capital analysis the direction of change over a period of time is a crucial importance. Working capital is one of the important field of management, it is therefore very essential for the analyst to make a study about the trend and the direction of working capital. The working capital trend analysis represents a picture of variation in current assets, current liabilities and its effect on the working capital position.
Nepa Ltd. Is incorporated as a private enterprise on 25th January 1947 by M/S NAIR press syndicate limited under the name of “THE NATIONAL NEWS PRINT AND PAPER MILLS LIMITED”. M/S Nair press syndicate limited, Bombay functioned as managing from 1947 to 1949.
The management of company was taken over by the state government of central province, bearer (at present Madhya Pradesh) in October 1949. Thereafter the central provinces government nominated a managing director to taken charges of the company from managing agent. The central government acquired the controlling interest in 1959 by conversion of loan into equity. The commercial production started in April 1956.
Corporate goal
The corporate goal of Nepa Ltd is to make available derived quality of the newsprint at the available time to the consumer, earning a certain percentage of profit and to increasing the profit.

Literature Review
• “An Analytical Study of Working Capital Management of National Fertilizer Ltd., Vijaypur”
She found the working capital and financial position of the company through various ratios and found there is some problem in some of the area it should be overcome. The decision affecting product prices, per unit cost, volume or efficiency have an impact on the profit margin or turnover ratio of the company. Similarly, decisions affecting the amount & ratio of debt or equity used have an affect on the financial structure & overall cost of capital of the company.
Limitations:
1. The project report will prepared for the postgraduate level course of the university; study is carried out according to that level only.
2. Time is a major constraint.
3. The study is limited only to working capital management aspect of the Nepa Limited Nepanagar.
