Objective:
In this project we are going to control power theft which will be made by the meter. And in this project the currency will be pre paid even we are going to monitor the meter reading that how many units it is going to consume. According to the currency recharged by the user the units will be sent to the particular meter of the user. Once the units in the meter is get reduced to zero then the power from that meter to the home will be cutoff. And the alarm will be activated through the buzzer. If the user has recharged the currency then once again the power will given to the home. The total number of units, Remaining number of units in the meter will be displayed in the LCD.
With this we are going to monitor the Fuse blown in that particular meter output. If it is blown then we will detect the fuse blown and indicate through the alarm.
If the user is tried to do the power theft across the meter the we will detect that and lock the meter and this information will be sent to the KEB Station. And then they can inspect that particular meter and put the penalty. Until the permitted signal comes back from the KEB Station to meter the meter will be locked and power will be cut off to the home.
Functional Description:
In this project we have used the GSM from which our Advanced energy meter can communicate with the KEB Station Directly with out interference of the any user. Like it is used to update the Units to the Energy Meter which will be sent by the KEB Station after paying the amount to them for units. Even this GSM is used to transmit the warning message to the KEB Station about the theft made at the meter. Once again it is also used to receive the permitted message from the KEB Station after the user has paid the penalty. The buzzer is used to alarm during the theft, Fuse blown and no Units in the meter.
Current Transducer is used to sense the current how much the connected Load is drawing and it will give the drawn current in the form of pulses. By the output pulses of the Transducer controller will count the number of units drawn from the load. And then if the remaining unit has become zero then the load controlling relay will be switched OFF. By which Load will be disconnected from the mains.
The Non-Volatile memory SEPROM used to record the data of units. So even in the absence of power also the data stored in it will remain.
