Training has misinterpreted by most of us as a platform for project performation. Industrial training in true sense has been included in curriculum to make the student well versed with the technical procedure of various industries, the basic criteria for management of various resources in a company or industry.
The educational institution sole aim by industrial training is to improve the technical knowledge and to have a hand on experience to make them realistic in thinking ,to understand the procedure for manufacturing keeping in mind thr minute detail whivh will benefit the customer like no learning is proper without implementation.

ABSTRACT
The Transmission function in the state of Uttar Pradesh is being looked after by U.P. Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) which is State Government owned company.UPPTCL maintains a very robust intra state 44Consists 1 No. 765 KV, 14 Nos, 400 KV, 73 Nos.220 KV and 276Nos. 132 K KV substations with total transformation capacity of around 61000 MVA. UPPTCL further has total line length of 411ckt.kms of 765 KV, 4260 ckt.kms of 400 KV, 8118 ckms of 220 KV and 13983 ckms of 132 KV lines.
The Total demand met by the transmission system of UPPTCL in the range of 8000 MW to 11500 MW.Out of this total demand, approximately 2500 MW is met through State co-generators in the state ,allocations from the centre sector generation stations ,bilateral agreement and purchases through power exchange. To develop evacuation system for such large quantum of power, considering dearth of funds with UPPTCL, the Government Of U.P. has planned to augment the State Transmission system through participation of private players. Accordingly ,contracts have been awarded to two private companies to create additional transmission capacity which includes 3Nos. 765 KV sub stations with capacity of 9630 MVA, 9 Nos. of 400 KV substation with capacity of 8320 MVA and 1485 ckt.kms of 765 KVlines and 1780 ckt. Kms of 400 KV lines.
As the State of Uttar Pradesh is also planning to procure addictional power through IPPS and ultra Mega Power Projects situated in other states , it is also planning major intra-state Network expansions linked to the development of inter-state transmission network for making this power from IPPS and Ultra Mega Power Projects to licensees and consumers within the state.
