The programming algorithm is crucial in the management of radio resources, especially for multimedia networks. There are many different types of traffic in multimedia networks; each type of traffic needs different quality of service (QoS) requirements. Several programming algorithms for wired and wireless networks are based on the assumption of connections without errors. However, few programming algorithms consider the effect of link adaptation. In this paper we propose a programming algorithm with link adaptation, based on the modification of the static priority algorithm (SP) and the earliest date algorithm (EDD). The results show that the proposed algorithm, compared to the algorithms SP and EDD, satisfies the requirements of packet loss and delay (PLR) to a much heavier traffic load.
