INTRODUCTION
Training is the most commonly used mechanism in human resource development. It is the process, which attempts to fill the gap by way of what employee has to offer by way of skills, experience and knowledge and that which is required by the job. The objective of the training is to help people to acquire the knowledge, skills and capacities necessary to do their job while to prepare them for transfer to other jobs and capability to be fitted into the working group. In this report I have tried to concentrate on the working architecture of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited in Refining and Pipelines division.
KEY LEARNING
Internship involves a variety of mundane tasks. These are vital because they help cement strong workplace relationships. They also convey softer skills, like attitude and teamwork. I have undergone the concept of the widely used optical fiber technology, Refining and Pipelines division in Indian Oil.Mr.Joginder Sharma, CCO (Corporate Communication Officer), expresses it clearly when he says, "These small tasks are key confidence-building measures, though one should not lose track of the project." I received following learning from my Industrial Training –
I learned the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
Also, the training prepared me for the obstacles in life that I would face once I get out of my comfort zones.
Virtues like inculcate Leadership, Cooperation, Mutual understanding and other qualities.
