Wagon used in coal industry
Coal has been transported in many types of vehicles. Mostly, open wagons were used at first. The coal was hand or mechanically shoveled out of the wagon. Advances were made to speed up unloading times, by modifying vehicles with bottom discharge doors.
Now when the wagon is empty, these empty wagons are sending to reload with the coal and again came to power station.
The duration of importing the coal in a thermal power station is fixed. It is depend upon the use of a coal in a power plant.
The next types of coal wagons were built from Aluminum. The biggest 120 ton hoppers.
Today they are built from Stainless Steel
Coal crusher machine
Coal crusher is used in thermal power station. Because the coal coming from coal mines by using wagon tippler, it‘s size is big so it is necessary to crushed the coal. And it is cursed by coal crusher. In a modern boiler the pulverized coal is used so it is a necessary to coal is in the form of powder form
When we convert the coal in small peace by using coal crusher it will give to ball mill by conveyer belt

Coal conveyor means a belt conveyor used for conveying raw coal or coal ore stones.
It’s applied widely in coal mining industry. When we transport raw coal to the ground or transporting coal on the ground, coal conveyor can do savings in manpower and improve efficiency greatly.
Water treatment process
In a thermal power plant pure water is required in boiler for making steam.
Because of that water treatment plants are needed to obtain dematerialized water appropriate to its consumption in the boiler and in the steam water cycle. Obtaining desmineralized water is carried out in two steps
Softening or desalination:-
This phase will eliminate most of the salts in the water. If the original water source is a river or a fresh water stream, the process is called
Softening because water hardness is removed. If it is sea water, the process is called desalination.
Refining:-
This is the second phase in which demineralization is refined, eliminating to a large extend of the salts that may be contained in the softened or desalinated water, that at the most it should have concentrations of 10 ppm or less if possible.
REVERSE OSMOSIS:-
Osmosis is a physical-chemical phenomenon that happens when two aqueous solutions of different concentration are in contact through a semi-permeable membrane.
This membrane only allows water to pass. Thus, water tends to pass through the membrane in the direction from lower to higher concentration, to level both.
But if the aqueous solutions are in different pressure, the water flow may change. In this way, if the pressure on the side that has higher salt concentration is greater than the lower concentration side, the water will run through it, losing its saltiness, which will stay in the more concentrated side.
In the reverse osmosis deserters, water at high pressure is driven against the "membrane racks." The pressure that makes this phenomenon take place is called osmotic pressure.
