INTRODUCTION
In the modern world digital image processing plays a major role. In the field of communications the word A digital image is a numeric representation (normally binary) of a two-dimensional image. Depending on whether the image resolution is fixed, it may be of vector or raster type. Without qualifications, the term "digital image" usually refers to raster images also called bitmap images.Multisensor data fusion has become a discipline to which more and more general formal solutions to a number of application cases are demanded. Several situations in image processing simultaneously require high spatial and high spectral information in a single image. This is important in remote sensing. However, the instruments are not capable of providing such information either by design or because of observational constraints. One possible solution for this is data fusion..In this project we fuse two images for extracting information from bothe the images simultaneously such that whenever the combination gives us the best result. This project is design with the help of matlab software.
