Heat transfer is a discipline of thermal engineering that concerns with the generations,use, conversion and exchange of thermal energy and heat between physical systems.
Different modes of heat transfer 1.conduction2.convection 3.thermal radiations.
WHAT IS THE MAJOR PROBLEM?
Heat is major problem,generates impulsive and extensive inconvenience in mechanical system.
Heat generated if not transfer will cause mechanical problems,resulting in losing the accuracy of your machine which will finally end up in crap.

A heat pipe or heat pin is heat transfer device that combines the principle of both thermal conductivity and phase transition to efficiently manage the heat transfer between two solid interfaces.
Advantages of heat pipes
Requires low maintenance.
Efficiency is high.
They are better conductors.
They can be used as thermal diode's.
Wide range of heat fluxes and temperature can be attained in single design.
Can be concluded for various dimension's.
Only criteria is the working temperature .
Limitations of heat pipes
They must be tuned to particular cooling conditions.
Vaporization of working fluid.
Below certain temperature phase change does not happen.
Most manufacture cannot make a traditional heat pipe of less than 3 mm diameter(due to material limitations).
