Modules
Two main Modules
1.Mobile Client (MC) module
2.Cloud Global Carpool Services (CGCS) module.
The connection between the two modules established through mobile communication network such as the GSM, UMTS, WiMAX), and LTE
Cloud Global Carpool Services Module
We make use of a carpool matching algorithm.
CGCS obtains requests from drivers and passengers via the MC module
The requirements of drivers and passengers in corresponding regions matched using the carpool matching algorithm.
The CGCS displays the match results to drivers and passengers
Results generated by carpool matching algorithm.
Carpool Matching Algorithm
two important modules:
(1) the Requirement Representation (RR) module
(2) the Match Computing (MC) module
form of matching solutions is defined by the RR module
MC module used to effectively determine carpool matches in real-time by using a proposed two-step procedure:
(a) Matching Generator procedure
(b)Matching Evaluation procedure.
Mobile Client Module
Drivers and passengers use their smart phones to send carpool requests to the CGCS through mobile communication network
GPS is used to provide current location information of users to the proposed CGCS module for carpool matching and tracking.
Hence, we need to implement an Android Application.
