Abstracts: ? We are analyzing the curve alignment at both the entry and exit points of the Godhra railway junction . ? Providing an alternative alignment instead of an existing one. ? There is a speed restriction of 10-15 kmph for each and every train passing through the yard. ? This speed restriction makes the fast moving trains like Rajdhani, Dhurandho, Mharashtra sampark kranti etc. which does not even have stoppage at godhra junction, to move with an average speed of 15 kmph. ? The trains even without stoppage run with a speed of 10kmph which is very low, causing the wastage of time , fuel and electricity affecting the routine . ? If an alternative of the present track can be thought of , the problems can be solved to an extent .
