Abstracts: The theme of our project “Active all wheel turning drive” is to study the characteristics of different modes of four wheel steering operated under different conditions. The present kind of steering systems that are being used has certain disadvantages like toppling at higher speeds, skidding of the track, greater turning radius, etc… Four-wheel four steering drive is also called rear-wheel steering drive or all-wheel steering drive, provides a means to actively steer the rear wheels during turning maneuvers. It should not be confused with four-wheel drive in which all four wheels of a vehicle are powered. It improves handling and help the vehicle make tighter turns. The entire vehicle moves in one direction rather than the rear half attempting to catch up to the front. There is also less sway when the wheels are turned back to a straight-ahead position. There are many automobile vehicles which required sharp turning so, in this problem we will try to make working model of all wheel turning. This model also contains different gearing and linkage mechanism to provide necessary motion to tire for required turning. By the use of different gear and linkage arrangement we will try to achieve the required result. By this four wheel turning drive can be used to provide more flexibility in turning, parking flexibility, and it can also helpful in heavy loaded vehicle and agricultural vehicle. An extensive research and study has been carried out to overcome these drawbacks then a suitable and appropriate solution has been found and it has been carried out in our project
