Abstract:
Now a days the usage of electronics is very high, every one are using electronic goods so the cost is very high.
Ordinary people are unable to buy those goods if we made any alternative they can enjoy the usage of electronics.
For that we are introducing the new procedure to make electronics with the waste material that is bacteria.
So our topic is “BACTERIA HELP TO MaKE BETTER NANO ELECTRONICS”.
The bacterium used in the research is a natural magnetic micro organism , which is found in ponds and lakes and swims along the earth’s magnetic lines.
When the bacteria eats iron, proteins interact to produce tiny crystals of magnalite –the most magnetic of all naturally occurring minerals on earth.
This technology produces faster ,higher-density hard drives and a range of other high performance, environment friendly electronic devices.
Back ground:
Why we prefer the bacteria means it has the all proteins and carbon elements because the plants in the seas have high carbohydrates in them.
By eating those type of plants it is strong and it is available ever where.
good bacteria is used to help the body heal, certain bacteria can even be used in producing electronics.
One of the type of bacteria is “magne t so prillummagneticum”-
That eats iron to create tiny magnets inside themselves.
Scientists are confident that their research may go very fastly because the process of micro organisms convert into micro electronics.
What is bacteria ?
The word bacteria is the plural form of bacterium .bacteria is defined as tiny living beings (micro organisms)they are nethier plants nor animals they belongs to group all by them selves .bacteria are tiny single cell micro organisms, usually a few micro meters in length that normally exist together in millions. A gram of soil typically contains about 40 million bacterial cells. A millileter of fresh water usually holds about 1 million bacterial cells.
How bacteria is converted into nano electronics ?
To convert bacteria in to nano electronics the tiny particle inside it is very useful.the organism converts iron into magnetite , and stores these magnetic crystals in sub cells called “magnetosomes”.the crystals react to the planet’s magnetic field and allow the bacteria to swim perfectly parallel to the field lines. The proteins inside this bacteria collect, shap and position these super small magnets inside the magnetosoms, and the latest break through is the “ability to replicate this behaviour out side the bacteria.” A protein which creates perfect nano crystals of magnetite inside the bacterium. This protein is attached to a gold surface in a checker board pattern, and placed in a solution containing iron. When subjected to temparatures of 80c,crystals of magnetite form on the sections coverd in the protein.
Magnetic bacteria can build tomorrow’s biocomputers
bacteria to produce arrays of tiny magnets within themselves similar to those found in traditional hard drive..
As the demand for smaller and more powerful electronics grows we are beginning to reach the limits of current manufacturing techniques. This new research hopes to harness the power of biology to produce cheap and environmentally friendly nanoelectronics on a large scale.
