Instruction Set Completeness:
The set of instructions are said to be complete, only if the computer includes a sufficient number of instruction .
The computer program has to be in such a way that it should be understandable and easier to the user to perform some action.
Instruction set completeness includes the following categories:
Arithemetic , logical and shift instructions.
Instructions for moving information to and from memory and processor registers.
Program control instructions together with instructions that checks status conditions.
Input and Output instructions .
Advantages:
The set of instruction of basic computer can also be used in commercial computers.
Disadvantages:
A more set of instruction would have made the design too complex.
