Abstracts: Energy is one of the major inputs for economic development of the industry. Energy sector assumes critical importance in a view of increasing energy need and requiring huge investment to meet them. Reduction in energy consumption helps industry to reduce its energy bill, improve system performance and enhance its competitive position. Energy consumption also has a significant impact on human environment, so it is require finding out ways of decreasing energy consumption. This report contains the performance analysis of condenser of refrigeration unit at Amul dairy, overview of refrigeration system arrangement at project site, industry problem, and calculation analysis of condenser. According to calculation, COP of refrigeration system is 2.99. It was found that effectiveness of condenser calculated by NTU method is 86.35%. Heat transfer rate calculated by LMTD method is about 13.85 MW. Effectiveness of condenser calculated by LMTD method is 46.98%. In 1st chapter introduction of refrigeration cycle and project is included. In 2nd chapter condenser and its types are discussed. In 3rd chapter experimental setup is described. In 4th chapter analysis of condenser by calculation is done. In 5th chapter cooling tower is discussed. In 6th chapter results and conclusions are listed down.
