BLUE TOOTH BASED DATA LOGGER BLUE TOOTH BASED DATA LOGGER.doc (Size: 32 KB / Downloads: 36) ABSTRACT This project describes an investigation into the potential for remote controlled operation of Data acquisition systems. It considers problems with their implementation, implements solutions through Blue tooth technology and indicates how to optimize the use of such systems. The home is an eternal, heterogeneous, distributed computing environment which certainly requires a careful study before developing any suitable Data acquisition that will accomplish its requirements. Now a day’s one of the emerging technologies is Blue tooth because, Bluetooth is a wireless protocol utilizing short-range communications technology facilitating data transmission over short distances from fixed and/or mobile devices, creating wireless personal area networks (LANs). Bluetooth provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices such as mobile phones, telephones, laptops, personal computers, printers, GPS receivers, and video game consoles over a secure, globally unlicensed Industrial, Scientific, and short-range radio frequency bandwidth. Nevertheless the latest attempts at introducing data acquisition Systems in actual homes/industries for all kinds of users are starting to be successful thanks to the continuous standardization process that is lowering the prices and making devices more useful and easier to use for the end user. The purpose of this system is to acquire real time data on the functioning of the various generating stations at the home/industry. Based on this data, the controllers at any location work on better ways of utilizing the capacity of the generating station. Data acquisition is the process by which events in the real world are sampled and translated into machine-readable signals. Sometimes abbreviated DAQ, data acquisition typically involves sensors, transmitters and other instruments to collect signals, waveforms etc. to be processed and analyzed with a computer. |
