PURPOSE:
The purpose of this project is to combine the embedded technology with the Zigbee wireless communication technology, utilized the license plate recognition system to recognize the vehicle in and out the community automatically, used the Zigbee module to control the community's gating intelligently and established a wireless communication network based on the Zigbee and used the Zigbee radio transmission technology to locate and monitor the community vehicles wirelessly. In this system, the vehicles' intellectualized management is divided into vehicles recognition, the access controlling, the issuing of real-time information and vehicles monitoring.
DESCRIPTION:
The process of working of this project is explained as follows, the gating control module is at entrance and master platform module is at Garage/community. Car number plate, which is nothing but RFID Tag. So RFID reader is at entrance, which reads the unique ID in a Tag and sends that information to Master Platform Module through Zigbee wireless communication technology. The authorized Car details with Owner’s name are stored in the Microcontroller. If received information is matches with stored information than it sends the message to gate control module through Zigbee in Master Platform module to open the Gate. The details of owner and weather conditions were displayed in the LCD with voice feed back, which is connected to Master Platform Module. Weather conditions were calculated using Sensors. When Vehicles leaves the community, the person as to press the Switch to open the Gate.
TECHNOLOGY:
Now a day's every system is automated in order to face new challenges. In the present days Automated systems have less manual operations, flexibility, reliability and accurate. Due to this demand every field prefers automated control systems. Especially in the field of electronics automated systems are giving good performance. And this is realized by making use of Zigbee technology for communication. Zigbee is new wireless technology guided by IEEE 802.15.4 Personal Area Network standard. It is primarily designed for the wide ranging controlling applications and to replace the existing non-standard technologies. It currently operates in 868MHz band at a data rate of 20Kbps in Europe, 914MHz band at 40kbps in USA, and the 2.4GHz ISM bands Worldwide at a maximum data-rate of 250kbps.
