Abstracts: •Rotor dynamics is the branch of engineering that studies the lateral and torsional vibrations of rotating shafts with objective of predicting the rotor vibrations containing the vibrations level under an acceptable limits. •Principle components of rotor dynamics system are the shafts , or rotor with disc , the bearings and the seals. The shaft or rotor is rotating component of the system. •Many industrial applications have flexible rotors , where the shaft is designed in a relatively long and thin geometry to maximize the space available for components such as impellers , and seals. Additionally , machines are operated at high rotor speed in order to maximize power output. Although there are many possible cause of vibrations which occurs at running speed ( frequency ) and is caused by mass unbalance in the rotor.
