Introduction
OBJECTIVE :
The project titled “ ELECTRONIC SHOPEE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ” offers to retailer to store data & well management from customer through a computerized system.
NEED OF SYSTEM:
Retailer may face the problem such as:
1. Retailer may require more time to manage its stock Manually.
2. It is a very critical to store large amount of data related with stock And manipulate it.
3. Destroyed records couldn’t be easily retrieved.
4. Probably there is a mistake in manual system as compare to Computerized System.
All these problems can be overcome when the whole system is computerized.
Use of computer reduces the time in great extent. Huge volume of data can be stored. The data can not be easily damaged.
To avoid this problem the Electronic Shopee Management System is developed. This system provides facility to retailer to store it’s stock and manipulate with it very effectively .This does not require more efforts to manipulate with stock .
Existing system
The Existing system means currently working system .current system maintains the stock manually .It involves more paper working. It takes lot of time to search stock record and other function like updating existing record .and it is not more feasible regarding and money.
So Drawback of existing system with details information is given below.
DRAWBACKS :-
Various reports regarding to data entry and data cancellation are subject to increase manual work and chances of error are more.
Wastage of paper Work.
Manual entry of every transaction makes wastage of Manpower.
No ready information is available about stock.
Manual entry of every transaction takes lot of time.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROPOSE SYSTEM :-
The main objective of the proposed system is to overcome the drawbacks of the existing system. Telephone numbers of emergency services are separately added.
FEATURE OF THE PROPOSE SYSTEM :-
1. Computerized system processes quickly than the manual system
2 It has large storage capacity.
3 It is easy for validation and updations in the records
4 It avoids duplication of records and store error free data.
5 Data is secure and has high priority.
6 It gives error free and accurate result.
7 User can search electronic device by name.
8 For the advertisements yellow pages are added.
9 Searching time is reduced
10 Compact in size and large storage capacity.
11 User friendly.
12 Computerized system process quickly than manual system.
Feasibility study
One of the important criteria of the new system is that if it is feasible that is
within the scope of organization or not.
It has three parts:
TYPES OF FEASIBILITY STUDY :-
Technical Feasibility Study.
Economical Feasibility Study.
Operational Feasibility Study.
1) Technical Feasibility Study:-
The developed system will be run on Pentium 4 processors & windows 98 or onwards operating systems, The software needs for system are Java 1.6& MS-Access. Hence it is technically feasible & easy to implement. this system is technical feasible to all new processor.
2) Economical Feasibility Study:-
Economical feasibility study is not so much important as only the development cost has to be consider which nothing compares to the long term nature of the solution and the cut in manpower. By use this system manpower is less require that’s why no need to servant and this case is more economical feasible. no more hardware is uses this system no need required other the user is guided.
3) Operational Feasibility Study:-
The system is extremely useful taking into consideration the fact that all calculation , verification etc will carried out by the computer assuring complete accuracy once the software is mastered .The system will be used if it is developed and implemented. This system is calculate all the records of stock this system is very simple to finding entry of all records. in the system is simple uses everyone no need to guidance.
