Upshot.com is a web site which will act as a bridge between Customers (Events Attendees) and the suppliers (Event Organizers). Major areas of functionalities will include Event Creation, Event Search, Social Networking and Event Management by the Admin/Event Organizer. Event will be Added/Organized by the Suppliers. Basic information about the event will be added by the Suppliers. Customers will search for the event on the basis of different criteria and subscribe for the event. Users can search for other users, add them as friends & send Messages. Site Administrator/user with Admin Rights can upload Events & Location in bulk..
Study of existing system
There is a need for such a web site that can make it easier for people to find out events and subscribe for them. Similarly this is a platform for Event Organizers where they can Create/Manage events. It provides a platform where users can communicate with each other through social network. Users can communicate with each other about the events or their personal information.

The purpose of this document is to layout in detail the functional and other requirements. This document contains the necessary information to meet the requirements set forth for the completion of this application. The target audience of this document is Project Sponsor, Project Managers, Developers, Designers, and QA Engineers.
