Abstracts: Bending is defined as the straining of metal around a straight natural axis. During this process, the metal on the inside of the neutral axis is compressed, while the metal on the outside of the neutral axis is stretched. Normal practice of the roller bending still heavily depends upon the experience and skill of the operator. Working with the templates, or by trial and error, remains a common practice in the industry. 3-roller bending is used for making shell of required radius.The industrial define problem will focus on the positions of bottom roller of three roller bending machine form reference point with help of analytically method, software analysis and experimental analysis, to estimate the bottom roller position explicitly as a function of desired (final) radius of curvature for three-roller cylindrical bending of plates. Due to this bottom roller positions new worker can easily work and saving time during bending of plate. The regression modeling and empirical modeling is also possible for three roller bending machine. The modeling method is helpful to speeding up the progress of manufacturing and reducing production cost.
