Abstracts: Geosynthetics have been used successfully to reinforce unpaved roads on soft subgrade for many years. In recent years, Geosynthetics have been proposed and used in roadway design are simple and compelling: to reduce construction time; to reduce construction materials; to reduce construction costs; improve the bearing capacity, diminish deformations, and delay rut formation and to increase the usable life of the roadway. Where the main goal is to save aggregate material the use of geosynthetics to reinforce unpaved roads on soft subgrade. Cost saving benefits should be quantified using Cost analysis.
