Abstracts: Due to rapid industrial and urbanisation construction industry is flourishing day by day. With the increase in construction the wastage and demolition wastes are also increasing. Increase in amount of wastes cause a serious threat to the environment. It also creates problem of dumping wastes. So why should not find a sustainable solution for the problem? In this study natural coarse aggregate which plays a very important role in the strength of concrete is to be replaced to some percentage with recycled aggregates. In this study recycled aggregates used are from demolition site of old hostel of GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE,BHARUCH. The aggregates are replaced to 0%, 25%, 30%, 35%, 100%. Clean and washed aggregates are used for the replacement. Many papers are studied and replacement % are done differently. It is observed that compressive strength of 28 days hardened concrete with recycled aggregates is more than 28 days hardened concrete with natural aggregates and goes on increasing with increase in replacement %. Other paper studied shows that this increase in strength continues till 50%. So this type of concrete can be used for constructing both structural and non structural member.
