Paper Battery
A paper battery is a battery engineered to use a paper-thin sheet of cellulose (which is the major constituent of regular paper, among other things) infused with aligned carbon nanotubes.
Manufacture of Paper Battery
Manufacture begins with growing the nanotubes on a silicon substrate and then impregnating the gaps in the matrix with cellulose.
Advantages
It has high flexibility
According to the experiment show that the battery is very strong adaptability to temperature, -70 ℃ to 150 ℃ in the temperature range can be used normally.
Each sheet of battery-paper generated about 2.4 volts with a power density of about 0.6 milliamps/cm2.
Applications
Applications in which lead acid batteries would be replaced were initial markets the company would pursue,
Other possible applications included medical devices, given the fast charge nature of the compound. Some paper battery prototype chemistries have also not contained any toxic materials and can be biodegradable, which is also attractive to the medical community, yet a major drawback of conventional chemical cells.
