Abstracts: Green Infrastructure development refers to a mode of human development in which resource use aims to meet human needs while ensuring the sustainability of natural systems and the environment, so that these needs can be meet not only in the present, but also for generations to come. A Green Building can be defined as a high-performance building designed, built, operated and disposed of in a resource-efficient manner with the aim to minimize the overall impact on the built environment, human health and the natural environment. It includes aspects such as • Residential infrastructure with the concept of locally available materials, natural materials, eco-friendly materials with optimum cost • Plotting of recreational activity area (garden, park or common plot) • Design of Underground wire network: ? Electrical supply for individual houses and street lights ? Telephone line, intercom line and TV cable network for individual houses • Design of Undergroundpipe network: ? Water supply line for individual houses ? Water supply line for tree plantations and recreational activity area ? Drainage line from individual houses to common septic tank • Roadside design according to architecture and utilities: ? Street lights poles with fixture ? Tree plantation ? Roadside space (parking space, pathway or jogging track) ? Rainwater harvesting & storage ? Conservation of resources ? Easy Maintenance of all utilities • Comparison between existing residential project and green infrastructure project.
