What is Watermarking?
Digital watermarking is a technique for inserting information (the watermark) into an image, which can be later extracted or detected for variety of purposes including identification and authentication purposes.
Fragile Image Watermarks:
A fragile marking system should be able to detect any changes made in a marked image after marking.
The watermark should not be visible under normal viewing conditions, that is the watermark should not alter the quality of the image in a large extent.
The detector should be able to locate and characterize alterations made to an image
The watermark should only be detectable by the provision of the correct key. Otherwise the detector should resemble random noise or provide an image which is commercially valueless.
The marking key should be difficult to be extracted from the marked image without the correct
