INTEGRATION ENGINE
AIM :-
Develop an application that integrates the various services/facilities involved in an organization that contributes to computation of income and promotes employee welfare.
OBJECTIVE:-
The application proposes to integrate various services that are involved within an organization. Most common services that every organization addresses to its staff are Employee State insurance, provident Fund and Tax consultancy. The system maintains staff information as profile. The details of his salary as also associated. This data can change as set by the administrator. Each staff is provided a login and password account. The facilities included are as follows:
• Employee State insurance that covers health related issues and covers expenditure based on the payscale. The module addresses both in service and retired personnel. The coverage although varies from person to person it addresses their requirements.
• The system provides information on health camps organized and the health status of the employee. It also recommends additional tests if required. Details of blood group are maintained to identify donors in case of emergency.
• Provident Fund accumulator addresses the savings of the staff for pension scheme. The details of the staff and the contributions are maintained. Although the contribution of the individuals can vary in % the contribution of the company is mostly fixed. The details of payments and the current account balance are determined based on the deposits and interests calculated.
• Tax consultancy services allow the staff to use company referred auditors to help them file their tax returns. The details of the staff and Form 16 as issued by the employer are made as input along with other forms of income additionally received if any. The module computes the tax less the deductions for clear visibility of the individual.
• The details of leaves, incentives, bonus etc are taken into account for computation of tax.
SCOPE:-
• Maintain Staff information
• Integrate with ESI to provide health services.
• Cover camps periodically and identify ailments.
• Address both in service and retired personnel.
• Allow integration with provident fund to track payments and maturity.
• Identify loan availability from PF.
• Use a tax consultant to file returns

EXISTING SYSTEM:-
• Although computation of payslip is automated, services are not integrated.
• ESI is a separate entity and staff has no direct access through the employed organization.
• PF history details and loan information can be determined only on communicating with the PF department.
• Details of health camps and other facilities are manually stored and are not readily available for future references.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:-
• A fully automated engine that integrates various services.
• Address staff welfare through this integration
• Automated accounts information that provides salary, PF, ESI details.
• Track PF payments, Loan availability and current balance.
• Offer services to both retired and in service personnel.
• Generate Tax info based on account furnished.
• Recommendations to save tax
MODULES
STAFF REGISTERATION
Admin identifies each staff in the organization and records their profile. The module associates job description, salary details and perks. The module allocates each staff with code and password. This is then used by the staff to login and view their personal details, earnings and savings. The staff can change their password, address and contact details.
HEALTH INSURANCE
The module associates each employee with health insurance if eligible. The eligibility criteria are mostly on the take home salary and job status(in service or retired). The module identifies the available/sanctioned medical aid, facilities available based on salary ranges. It facilitates in both claim and settlement of Health insurance as covered. The application covers both in service and retired personnel. The staff can login and check the status of insurance, claims and settlements.
HEALTH CAMPS
The module provides regular health check-up information and recommendations to each employee. This helps the employee to know the problems if any at a very early stage. The details of the checkup, previous check-ups are available. A comparison of this provides the recovery status. The module also maintains blood group and critical information that could be useful during emergencies.
PROVIDENT FUND MONITOR
The module provides integration with the PF department to facilitate monitoring of their funds. The details of payment across the year or over a period of year, interest earned, current balance is readily available. Loan availability and existing loan status can also be monitored. Deductions towards loans and dues are available on demand.
TAX CONSULTANCY SERVICE
The module provides an automated form that prompts for details of earnings to compute tax. It also recommends how tax can be saved. The details of additional income and other sources are also included to compute Form16. The details of tax paid and amount due is determined instantaneously. In the case of employee having paid more than the required level, the application determines the refund amount.
