ABSTRACT
The objective of this project is to introduce a new technology
for the safe cash withdrawal from ATM. The main deviation of the
project from old technology is the introduction of fingerprint unit.
According to the current technology the cash withdrawal from the
ATM is fully based on the pin number which is defined from the
corresponding banks for individual ATM cards. But in this technology
the withdrawal of cash depends on the fingerprint and the varying the
pin numbers to make the transaction more safe and private.
The primary step of this project is the check fingerprint which is
done by checking the finger print which is produced in the bank
during the account opening time and the current fingerprint scanned
by the system. The card will accept by the machine only if the two
fingerprints got matched. The card may be a RFID card or smart card.
Then a message will delivered to the users mobile which is the pin
number to access the account. During every transaction individual pin
numbers will send to the user’s mobile. So there will not be a unique
pin number for every transaction. Pin number will vary during each
transaction. This method will make the transaction when the card got
robbed.
In this project we are using AVR micro controller is used. The
input part consists of the fingerprint module interfacing, keypad;
RFID card and the output part consist of GSM module, buzzer and the
relay. After comparing fingerprint the card will check and then the
message will receive to the user’s mobile through the GSM module.
The number displayed in the mobile is given to the system through the
keypad. The buzzer will on and the relay will switched only if all the
data are matched.
