Excel is the prepaid service of the BSNL mobile. BSNL Mobile prepaid service offers you a host of value added services and unmatched features not found in any other Cellular service. All India roaming facility is also available on BSNL mobile prepaid service. The various bsnl prepaid products are Saral anant,ayush99,women’s power, students suvidha,etc.
1 BSNL GENERAL
Bsnl General is the prepaid scheme. The cost of the SIM card is Rs99 in which has a talk value of Rs60 and 180days validity. The call rates for all local calls are 90ps/min. The std rates are 1.20ps/min for calls to same network and 1.50ps/min for calls to other network.
2 BSNL WOMEN’S POWER
BSNL Women’s prepaid scheme is a wonderful and attractive scheme for women. In this scheme SIM charge is Rs.110. with Rs.10 Talk time and 365days validity. In this scheme we can make Locals calls of own network at 59ps/min in busy hours and 25ps/min in happy hours (10pm-7am).and the local calls of other network will be charged 69ps/min throughout the day and STD 1.50Rs/min
3 STUDENT NEW SUVIDHA
Student Suvidha is a BSNL prepaid scheme for the students in this scheme the initial SIM value is Rs.149 with a initial validity of 180 days and 10Rs. Talk time. And the validity can be extended by using the validity extension voucher of Rs.100. In this scheme we can make the local calls at 49ps/min. we can also reduce the rates to 2 BSNL phones from 49ps/min to 30ps/min., the local SMS cost is 5ps.
4 BSNL AYUSH 99
BSNL Ayush 99 is a lifetime prepaid SIM card. The cost for this prepaid SIM card is Rs 99.The tariffs are Rs1/min for all local calls inside Kerala and Rs1.50/min for STD calls. We can use Rs 49 magic voucher and reduce the call rates inside Kerala to 50ps/min. and we can also use the Rs 45 magic voucher and reduce the call rates to 1p/sec for Local and STD calls of own network and 1.2p/sec for local and STD calls of other network.
BSNL Services
1. Voice Mail Service [VMS]
Cell voice mail service ensures that the customer never miss their cell even when their phone is busy switched off, out of coverage or the customer is simply too busy to take the call. In such cases, cell one VMS greets the caller, which the customer can retrieve the later at his convenience from any where in the world and can call them bank. This is available to the entire cell one post paid customer.
2. Short Message Service (SMS)
Mobile to mobile Messaging is a revolutionary new means of communication that allows cell one mobile subscriber to send short text message instantaneously to any other mobile subscriber. User can type down the message and send it any mobile. The message can be of 160 characters length including spaces punctuations and special characters. The system sends the conformation about the delivery of the message to the sender as soon as the message is delivered. If the called number is busy or out of coverage area the system periodically monitors the state of the called number sends the message as soon as it becomes active
3. Roaming
Because of this facility the cell one shall remain same when the user is in Mumbai, Lucknow, London, Paris, or any where else in the world. Since the number is the same wherever he goes, the call will be forwarded to him. So no more missed calls further, the call doesn’t require STD/ISD facilities to call the cell one user, if the call is being made from within the service area of cell one.
4. Call forwarding
In case the user is in a meeting or his cell phone is switched off, using the call forwarding feature he can forward his calls on a fixed line or a cell phone where some can see messages on his behalf. He can also forward an incoming call while speaking to someone.
5. Call conference & Call waiting
This feature enables the user to speak to two callers; one at a time without hanging upon either one of them. When their network service is activated the network notifies him a new incoming call while he has a call in progress. If another person tries call him midway through a conversation, he/ she will hear a message informing him/ her that the user’s line is busy, while the users will hear beeps at intervals. He can accept the second call while putting the first call on hold. Since this facility involves two conversations the user will be charged airtime rate for two calls.
