1. Find filter order for following specifications and design Butter worth filter for un normalized case √0.5≤|H (Ω)|≤ 1 0≤ Ω ≤π/2
H (Ω)|≤ 0.2 3π/4≤ Ω ≤π With T = 1 sec. use Bilinear Transformation.
2. Design an analog Butter Worth filter and obtain the order of the filter.
3. Design a Chebyshev filter with order N and locate the poles on Ellipse in S plane
4. A low pass filter with following specifications is required
Pass band ripple= 3DB, pass band edge =100Hz
Attenuation = 20DB, stop band edge = 200Hz and Sampling Frequency =500Hz
Design an IIR filter with butter worth approximation and Bilinear Transformation
5. a) Compare the digital filters with analog filters
b) Compare FIR Filters with IIR Filters
6. Design a Butter Worth and Chebyshev low pass filters for the following specifications using Bilinear Transformation for Normalized condition
Pass band Ripple = 3DB Stop band Attenuation = 20DB
Pass band Frequency = 0.06π rad/sec Stop band Frequency = 0.75π rad/sec
Sampling Time = 1 sec
