Abstracts: In India, due to rapid urbanization, industrialization and service sectors, generated growth in laden vehicles in limited road space to withstand high stresses with minimum maintenance. These call for the demand of improved strength of road. Cement concrete pavements are used for heavy traffic loads throughout the world owing to its better and economical performance. In this paper the assessment of using polyvinyl chloride polymer in concrete mix has been carried out to study the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete with and without polyvinyl chloride polymer. The experimental programmed was under taken to test standard concrete cube size (150 × 150 × 150) mm for studying compressive strength and concrete beam of size (100 × 100) mm with a 500 mm span for studying of flexural strength of concrete.
