Theory:
GPRS setting for each service operator is different. It refers to how you configure your phone for the Internet. If you ask in the shop where you bought your phone probably they will have no idea what you are talking about at the moment. To set their settings you may either set it manually (depends on functionality of phone) or by sending a SMS message that auto-configures the settings on your phone.
Here are some GPRS configurations setting steps for major telecom operator.
