NAND GATE
AIM:
To verify the LAMBDA based and DRC rules of NAND GATE by using the back end tool and also the functionality by using CMOS transistors.
TOOLS USED:
MICROWIND3 (DSCH3/LAYOUT EDITOR)
DESCRIPTION:
The NAND GATE implies an AND function with complemented output. The NAND GATE is a universal gate as it can be used to construct an AND, OR, INVERTER or the combination of any these functions.
The logical operation of NAND GATE is that a logic zero output occurs only when all the inputs are logic one. The output will be logic one when any of the inputs is logic zero.
CONCLUSION:
The LAMBDA based design rules and the functionality of the NAND GATE is verified by using MICROWIND 3.
